Pocket Prints

Learn about mono printing with this fun craft! Mono printing makes one print off the original image. This is a great activity for little Wotwots, involving dabbing, squishing, patting and peeling!

Things you will need:

  • Paint – acrylic or tempera
  • Paper – any plain colour
  • Scissors
  • Plastic folder pocket

Step 1:

Trim off the bottom edge of the plastic pocket so that you can open the folder out and flat.

Step 2:

Dab blobs of paint on one side. Close the folder pocket and squish the paint around.

Step 3:

Open the pocket and lay a sheet of paper on each paint covered side. Pat and smooth it very gently.

Step 4:

Peel the paper off, and look, you have 2 prints!

Step 5:

What do your prints remind you of? Make a collage picture from them.

NB – you can wash the folder pocket and use again and again!
